During the consultation, Dr. Harry Gebhard begins various tests. They quickly show that Mrs. Gutknecht is suffering from a slipped disc. Based on the X-rays, the orthopedist recommends a one-off infiltration. During this, the doctor injects cortisone precisely into the painful area. Mrs. Gutknecht breathes a sigh of relief: an operation is not necessary for the time being.
And indeed: the injection makes the acute pain go away. Now it's time to rebuild the tense muscles in physiotherapy in Laufen. If only she had registered for the consultation much earlier! She would have been spared so much pain.
